Mort Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer of Signal, Power and Light based in Alabama. He is a practicing attorney with long experience in the energy industry. His personal background includes managing a fourth generation private land and energy holdings, which have supplied coal for industry for over 80 years. He founded Signal, Power and Light out of a belief that, given the opportunity, innovative technologies could be applied such that people could have greater access to energy throughout the world. Mort is native to the state of Alabama, where he attended Birmingham – Southern college, receiving his B.A degree in history and his law degree from the University of Alabama.
