Carlos Martinez is a social mobility fellow at the Archbridge Institute and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at George Mason University. His research focuses on economic history and economic development, with particular attention to the causal effects of the Cuban Revolution and the study of economic freedom.

He has a B.S. in economics from Rockford University.
